Hero Electric plans for eco - friendly electric scooter

Hero Electric is right now looking for assembly units in overseas market. Primarily in Western Europe and North America and the company have plans to launch a new electric scooter (noise free and pollution free) in collaborations with local manufacturers of the foreign country.

Within a span of 12 months the company will finalize the selected local players and under its own brand will launch a new scoter as well as will assemble E-Sprint, Maxi, Optima Plus, Wave Dx and Wave Dx Extra Mile. The company will not adopt the contract manufacturing.

Last month the company has revealed that it will start exports to Latin America and Europe in near future.

Last year also Hero Electric, a part of Hero Group of Companies exported small number of its product portfolio to SAARC countries and Canada.
Hero electric has recently signed a pact with Canadian battery maker, Electrovaya in order to set up a manufacturing plant for lithium ion batteries in the country for both the domestic and export market. This unit will help to wave off lead acid batteries
