INS Kochi

INS Kochi is a 6,800 ton guided-missile stealth destroyer and the second of the Kolkata class destroyers (Project 15A) of the Indian Navy. She is the second of 3 multi-role destroyers of the type under construction. In keeping with the tradition of the Navy, the warship was launched by Madhulika Verma, wife of Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Nirmal Kumar Verma, at 11.20 a.m. September 18, 2009 from the Mazgaon Dock in Mumbai.
